RICS Market Valuation

A Market Valuation is undertaken by a RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) Registered Valuer, for the benefit of the buyer to ensure the property is worth the money they are spending. However; this is a valuation report, it is not a report on the condition of the property.
A Market Valuation can be instructed for the following reasons:
  • Probate, inheritance tax or deceased estate purposes
  • Capital gains purposes
  • Matrimonial disputes with shared equity purposes
  • Shared ownership purposes
  • Help to buy schemes
Note: We access and inspect every property we value.
Note: Some surveyors often do ‘drive buy’ or ‘desk-top’ valuations without inspecting the property.
