Residential Open Market Valuations

Residential-ValuationAn Open Market Valuation is undertaken by a RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) Registered Valuer, for the benefit of the buyer to ensure the property is worth the money they are spending.  However, this is a valuation report; it is not a report on the condition of the property.


Many of our clients request an Open Market Valuation for the following reasons:


  • Capital gains purposes
  • Probate or deceased estate purposes
  • Matrimonial disputes with shared equity purposes

We access and inspect every property we value. 


Be warned: Other surveyors often do “drive buy” or “desk top” valuations without actually inspecting the property.
